Objective: To recognize the symbolism and conflicts created by Fitzgerald in Chapter 2 of The Great Gatsby. (STANDARD RL.4)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by adding Myrtle to the character web and explaining the symbols surrounding the “Valley of Ashes.”
