Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by identifying thematic parallels between the two texts and using textual evidence to prove their claims.

  1. WOD - vengeance (noun): infliction of injury, harm, humiliation, or the like, on a person by another who has been harmed by that person; violent revenge

  1. WOD QUIZ – 10 points!
  2. Individually, read “The Birthmark” – 45 min
  3. EXIT SLIP – Write a one paragraph response to the thematic parallels between Frankenstein and “The Birthmark.” – 10 min
  4. Discuss Frankenstein Chapters 21-22
  5. Finish the novel!  Novel test is tomorrow!
