Objective: To prove your knowledge of Death of a Salesman in a 50 question objective test and a 100 point persuasive essay. (STANDARD RL.1-2, W.1)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by earning at least an 80% on both the objective test and the persuasive essay.

Agenda:

First Block:

1.      Go over answers to Grammar Quiz #8

2.      Finish reading play, p. 96-112 – 40 min

3.      TEST! – 40 min (Persuasive Essay tomorrow)

Fifth Block:

1.     TEST - 45 min

2.     Open book Persuasive Essay #3 (due by the end of the block) - 45 min

Assessment: Scantron test, Persuasive Essay #3

Homework: Choice Novel readings

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by summarizing the events of ACT to a table partner.

Agenda:

1. Assign roles for reading ACT III
2. Read ACT III p. 61-93– 60 min
3. Watch ACT II-III – 30 min

Assessment: Oral class discussion, ACT summary

Homework: Reread ACT II-III, as needed; Prepare ACT summary to be used on test.
