Objective: To analyze the numerous man versus man and man versus self conflicts in Death of a Salesman(STANDARD RL.2)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by drawing a character web, including relationships and conflicts.

Agenda First Block:
1.      Continue Death of a Salesman p. 64-96 – 70 min
2.      *We will finish reading the play tomorrow, and then take the test at the end of the block.  See the schedule on the white board.
Agenda Fifth Block:
1.      SSR – 20 min
2.      Finish Death of a Salesman – Goal = p. 82-112 – 60 min

Assessment: Table partner review

Homework: Choice Novel readings

Student Learning Objective: (1) To be introduced to the main characters in Hamlet and their relationships to each other, as well as their internal and external conflicts.  (2)To analyze multiple interpretations of a play (written word versus performed). (STANDARDS RL.1, RL.2, RL.7)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by summarizing the events of ACT to a table partner.

Agenda:
  1. Go over answers to TCP Test
  2. Watch movie – ACT I – 20 min
  3. Assign roles for reading ACT II
  4. Read Hamlet ACT II p. 35-60 – 60 min

Assessment: Oral class discussion


Homework: Reread ACT II, as needed; Prepare ACT summary to be used on test.
