Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by locating a credible source through MEL or Google Scholar.

  

Agenda:

1.      SSR - 20 min

2.      Quiz - 5 min

3.      Introduction to MEL/Google Scholar - 10 min

a.       Look for additional (sixth) source on the topic of homework, relevant to your claim - 10 min? 

b.      Print and annotate an article - 10 min?

c.       Take notes on Note-Catcher - 10 min?

4.      Continue reading Divergent  Chapters 14-16, p. 167-208 – rest of class

Assessment: Annotated Article #6 and notes filled in on Note-Catcher

1.      Assign roles for reading ACT I

2.      Read Hamlet ACT I p. 3-34 – 60 min

3.      Watch movie – ACT I – 30 min

Assessment: Oral class discussion

Homework: Reread ACT I, as needed; Prepare ACT summary to be used on test.
