Objective: To become familiar with the four main characters of Death of a Salesman and their relationships and conflicts with each other. (STANDARD RL.1-2)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by listing the names of the four main characters and describing their relationships to each other.

Agenda:
1.      SSR with Notebook #18:  – 15 min
2.      SAT Reading Test Prep: Answer each other’s questions - 5 min
3.      Discuss the quality of the questions in comparison to the provided practice passages - 5 min
4.      Begin Death of a Salesman – Goal = p. 1-28 – 65 min

Homework: Choice Novel readings

AP English Literature and Composition

Student Learning Objective: To evaluate the ways in which the protagonist is a representative of the bildungsroman genre. (STANDARD RL.1)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by writing their own answer choices to an AP-like multiple choice question. 
  
Agenda:
  1. Read “The Revolt of Mother” and draw parallels between the short story and the novel.
  2. Exit Slip #1 – 10 min
