SUCCESS CRITERIA: The student will show mastery by working with a table partner to discuss the textbook and novel readings.

MATERIAL: Textbook, Huck Finn, Choice Novel, Huck Finn Discussion Questions

AGENDA:

1.   Sustained Silent Reading (Choice Novel) - 20 min

2.   Review Puritan Literary Period Notes with a table partner - 5 min

3.   Individually, read from textbook (in cupboard): "Of Plymouth Plantation" p. 59-62 - 15 min

4.   Answer Question #1 on page 63 and Questions 2-3 on page 64 – 15 min (Turn in today!)

5.   Answer Huck Finn Discussion Questions over Chapters 1-5 (Turn in tomorrow!) – 15 min

6.   Begin reading HF Chapters 6-8, answering Discussion Questions as you go, to be discussed tomorrow – 20 min
