OBJECTIVE: (1) To review the characteristics of the Puritan Literary Period. (2) To be introduced to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.  (STANDARD RL.1, RI.9, RL.9)

                 

SUCCESS CRITERIA: Students will show mastery by taking notes from pages 1-22 and summarizing the main points to a table partner. 

MATERIAL: American Literature Notes Packet, novel, graphic organizers, sticky notes, reading schedule
