Objective: To prove your knowledge of the novel in a 100 point persuasive essay. (STANDARD W.1)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by earning a 75%+ on the persuasive essay rubric.

Agenda:

1. Student workday: PERSUASIVE ESSAY #2 due end of block – 90 min
2. When finished, begin working on the Academic Essay (Character Analysis, Conflict Analysis, Theme Analysis, Literary Device Analysis, or Book Review) – due Friday at the end of the block

Assessment: Persuasive Essay #2

Homework: ACADEMIC ESSAY #2, due Friday
