Objective: To examine voices other than the men’s during the Revolutionary Literary Period. (STANDARD RL.9, RI.9)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by identifying the main ideas of the two primary sources and sharing those with a table partner.

  

Agenda:

1.     3^rd and 5^th blocks ONLY – SSR – 20 min

2.    Notebook: Slam Poem – 15 min

3.     Go over answers to Grammar Quiz #5 (re-quiz if necessary) – 10 min

4.    (4^th block ONLY – Grammar Notes #5, with practice clicker quiz, followed by Grammar Quiz #5)

5.    Read “Women in the Revolution”

·        Study Guide – 10 min

·        Abigail Adams “Letters from the Homefront” – 10 min

·        Sally Wister “An Adolescent’s Wartime Diary” – 10 min

Assessment: Oral question and answer session

Homework: Choice Novel reading; prepare for upcoming UNIT TEST (Monday)
