Objective: To analyze the conclusion of The Great Gatsby and prepare for Tuesday's novel test.(STANDARD RL.2-5)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by engaging in the class discussion and by answering questions correctly.

  

Agenda:

1.     SSR – 20 min

2.     Discussion of Chapter 8-9 of The Great Gatsby  - 10 min

3.     Divide class into 9 groups.  Each group must prepare a chapter summary and read 2-3 Chapter MVP's - 20 min

4.     Chapter presentations (review) - 20 min

5.     Review Tips for Persuasive Essays - 20 min 

Assessment: Small group review for whole group benefit

Homework: Prepare for tomorrow's unit test and persuasive essay
