interview. (STANDARD SL.1) (2) To research
Argument #3 topic, finding at least one quality source that answers a question
or helps solve a problem. (STANDARD W.7)
Success Criteria: (1) Students will show mastery by earning at least a 45/50 on
the choice reading interview rubric. (2) Students
will show mastery by locating one credible source, locating its claim and best
evidence to support that claim.

literature circle novel. (STANDARD RL. 1-5, W.2, W.6)
Success Criteria: Students will
show mastery by producing two thought-provoking, critical analysis blog posts
of their literature circle novel.
Agenda:

Discuss novel with group – 20 min
2.
Create and proof-read blogs/Post two blogs by the end of the block
– 40 min
3.
Read independently (or collaboratively) – 30 min
