American Literature Lesson

Objective: To write narratives to develop real or imagined
experiences or events using effective technique, well-chosen details, and
well-structured event sequences. (STANDARD W.3)
Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by earning a 4 out of
5 under the Stimulating Ideas heading on the Creative Piece
rubric.

Student work time for
Creative Piece/Personal Narrative #1 due end of block – 90 min
When finished, go to PRINT, OHS Writing Lab, attach purple
rubric and turn into the tray
Assessment: Creative Piece/Personal Narrative #1, due at the
end of the block
Homework: 20 min of IR reading
