Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by attempting at least two new reading strategies on a practice SAT Reading passage.

  

Agenda:

1.      OPEN NOTES GRAMMAR QUIZ #6 – 10 min

2.      SSR – 20 min

3.      Draw names for Choice Reading Interviews for next week – 5 min

4.      Discuss reading strategies on SAT Reading Pre-test (week 1?) and go over the answers – 10 min

5.      Handout and discuss “Reading Strategies for Timed Tests” – 10 min

6.      Practice Test “RL #2” using some strategies - 12.5 min

7.      Go over the answers to RL #2 and discuss what strategies are helpful – 10 min

8.      Prepare for Choice Reading Interviews – 15 min
