Objective: To be introduced to the characteristics of the Realism Literary Period and identify those characteristics in today's text. (STANDARD RL.9, RI.9, RL.1)

Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by identifying similarities and differences between the two short stories in the EXIT SLIP.
