Success Criteria: Students will show mastery by including textual evidence to support their opinions regarding the conflict resolution in "Under the Lion's Paw."

Agenda:
1.     Grammar quiz #11 - 10 min
2.     Grammar Notes #12 with clicker quiz - 25 min
3.     Read "Under the Lion's Paw" by Hamlin Garland - 30 min
4.     Writing Assignment: Do you side with Butler or Haskins at the end of the short story?  Was it fair that Butler raised the price of the land?  How would you feel if you were Haskins?  Who is at fault?  Support your opinion with textual evidence. - 15 min

Homework: Begin organizing Grammar Notes 1-12 and preparing for upcoming BIG GRAMMAR TEST on Monday
