Objective: (1) Writing Pretest: To demonstrate a careful reading of the passage, present a clear and logical analysis, and use language precisely. (2) To be exposed to an SAT reading passage. (STANDARD W.2, RL.1-2)

Success Criteria: (1) Students will show mastery by using evidence from the passage to support a claim, and (2) answering 6/10 questions correctly.

1.      Discuss literature circle book with group – 20 min
